Our Approach

Garrod Kirkwood is an internationally recognised award-winning photographer who has been working with leading brands and agencies for over a decade. Specialising in advertising, editorial and fine art photography, Garrod wanted to develop a new brand identity and supporting collateral and website. This included a new logotype, monogram, stationary set, portfolio and online presence.

Identity & application

A simple and confident approach when taken when creating Garrod’s new identity to suit his unique, broad and compelling portfolio. This decision was taken to place weight on and compliment the tone, detail and colour communicated through Garrod’s imagery. The logotype and marque were then used across a number of applications with consideration being given to materials and finishes to reinforce the quality of his work.


A refined portfolio was produced to showcase Garrod’s work with his imagery taking centre stage with the intention on emphasis every detail.

In addition to a printed portfolio, we delivered a new website which again allows Garrod to best showcase his work. The modular build and design of the website ensures new work can easily be published and in any layout required.
