New Client: Colab.

Co-working agency Colab has appointed TAC to evolve its identity, deliver print collateral and create a new website.

With an ever growing portfolio, Colab is synonymous with giving people the freedom to work how they want through alleviating the stresses and barriers of traditional office spaces.

In the coming weeks, TAC will be responsible for completing their renaming, a new brand identity and bespoke online booking platform. The project will aim to develop a new brand narrative and create a seamless user experience for clients, both old and new.

Hideout Festival continues relationship with TAC.

TAC Design will continue to work alongside Hideout Festival in 2017, providing brand development and marketing support in the lead up to next year’s event.

We’ve worked on Hideout in each of the six years the festival has taken place and we’re delighted to be able to announce that we’ll be continuing our strong relationship.

Named in The Guardian’s List of Best Festivals, Hideout takes place each June when a crowd of thousands descend on Zrce Beach, on Croatia’s Adriatic Coast, for four days of DJs, boat parties and live music.

Wylam Brewery: Relaunching the brand.

Late last year we joined up with Wylam Brewery, one of the most well known names in the real ale game, to develop a new brand identity and online presence. The brief we were given was based around supporting their ambitious expansion from their current home in Heddon-on-the-Wall, to the Palace of Arts in Newcastle’s Exhibition Park.

We worked in close collaboration with Wylam to rebrand all areas of the business. Particular importance was placed on conveying the brand’s key values of Quality and Heritage.

The Ouseburn.

Being located in the Ouseburn Valley, an area with so much creative enterprise, has been both a huge help and inspiration to us over the past couple of years. Working alongside and collaborating with so many talented people and exciting businesses means it’s always an interesting place to be.

However, it’s only in the relatively recent past that the Ouseburn has become such a diverse, thriving place. As recently as 20 years ago the Valley was in a state of disuse and dereliction due to the loss of much of the heavy industry in the area.

Today the Ouseburn Valley is the centre of Newcastle’s creative industry, but it is also known for it’s diverse night-life, music and cultural scenes. These form the basis of an initiative we’re currently involved in, alongside our good friends and fellow Ouseburn residents, Roots & Wings.
